Directed all aspects of statewide coalition of 61 college presidents to support the development and enhancement of service-learning, civic education, and civic leadership in higher education. Administered $500,000 budget which included making sub-grants to Pennsylvania colleges and universities. Coordinated fund development from private and public funding sources. Conducted training and technical assistance workshops on topics related to civic engagement and higher education. Directed AmeriCorps*VISTA project at 23 campuses. Conducted project and organizational analysis of campus service programs. Provided administrative support to the Board of Directors. Assisted Governor’s Community Service Advisory Board with the design and implementation of Pennsylvania’s Unified State Plan. Established Pennsylvania Campus Compact as a 501(c)(3) organization.

Worked with faculty and administrators to design campus wide program for integrating public service with academic study. Recruited community based organizations to engage students in service.
